La Candelaria, a tour through the museums

Bogota is a very wide city in cultural and entertainment aspects, this capital city of Colombia offers a great variety of activities, for the national and international public, for every occasion and taste.
I was in charge of investigating and looking for museums, a topic I liked very much, a way of learning about the history of my country and the big Colombian personalities, do you want to learn about it? Check out my special report.
My father guided me during my visit to the historic La Candelaria neighborhood in down town, on the road to La Candelaria, we passed in front of the Monserrate chapel, located on the top of the mountain. As my father is a photographer he helped me out a lot taking pictures.

We first visited la Casa De La Moneda a museum in which I saw the changes of the currency throughout the history of the country and the machines where the paper money was made. Then we visited the museum Trajes regionales casa de Manuelita saenz, which was in the way going to La Plaza de Bolivar, a square surrounded with representative buildings of historical eras, I saw the Capitolio Nacional, constructed in 1926. When I was there, I could also see the march of the nacional soldiers going to the president’s house. The Catedral primada of Bogotá was also there in Bolivar’s square, I could see many international tourists admiring the architecture of the constructions while my father was taking the pictures.
I also visited Centro cultural Gabriel Garcia Marquez, and Museo de Botero, a museum full of art in which most of the pieces where donated by Botero, a Colombian artist, he donated his work and others as Picasso. Museo de arte colonial, Museo iglesia santa Clara, Museo Nacional and Museo de arte moderno MAMBO, where other museums I visited whith my father douring the whole Sunday morning in which I enjoyed a lot.

Restaurants

I was searching and resarching about primary factors in the restaurants: like attention, quality of the food and prizes, Is this always good? and if It is, In which restaurants?, This is my objective, to get to a conclution about this.
I visited lots of restaurants including: El Corral, crepes & Waffles, Mc Donalds, Jennos Pizza, Giussepe Verdi, WOK, Chef Julian, The place, Carbon de Palo, La guissine Suisse, Frisby, Brasil, Kokoriko, Oma and more.

It’s obvious that each restaurant has its style, attention, and prizes, but i analized mainly the enviroment that proyects each restaurant, the positive and negative aspects that each one had.

A Day In A Mall

First at all, I have to confess that I don’t like to visit malls. But anyway I’ll tell you my experiences.
I went to Boulevard Niza with my parents, and my little brother. It’s located in the north of the city and it has different access, by the 127 avenue and also by the
Suba´s Avenue
. There were a lot of people in all the places, but most of them just looking because I didn’t see many bags on their hands. So I deduced they didn't bought many things.

As you can see in this image at the left it is a very impressive roof as it is   like a circle but different, it is different to explain but the picture can do it, and in the on that is just up you can see the elevator, I think it is very comfortable. And it's cool, you know you can see all the exterior from inside the elevator, that's fantastic!

Cinemas in Bogota 1

Did you know that we are not just as behind in terms of cinemas like other countries?, we have a good technology cinema's system, I went to differeny cinemas and I had different experiences.

I first went to Bulevar Nisa's cinema (Procinal), at the 127th street with Suba avenue. It was a big space as you will see it on the photos, It didn't had many people on the row, It is an acceptable price, more or less seven thousand pesos (in general), good video quality and more things that make comfortable your movie.

But I have to admit that, later I went to my dad and we wanted to see the new movie called Saw VII and it was allowed for people over 18 years old but my dad and I went on I told I was 16 and they let me… but then after 30 minutes my dad decided to took me out ‘cause it was so “violent”
